The Albuquerque Chapter of the NWTF is the longest continuous running chapter in the State of New Mexico, since the early 1970's. The Albuquerque Chapter considers itself a habitat chapter and is always looking for habitat projects. If you would like to help the Chapter in our project work and fundraising efforts, contact us.

Work Projects

In cooperation with the Cibola National Forest Adopt A Drop program the Albuquerque Chapter has adopted two tanks.
In the Santa Fe National Forest the Chapter is maintaining two tanks.
In the Cibola National Forest we maintain the fence around some natural seeps, that we constructed a few year back.

If you know of a non-functioning drinker provide the following information, so we can fix the drinker:

  • National Forest
  • Location of drinker ( how to find from forest road, etc.)
  • GPS Grid
  • Description of drinker malfunction
